Ethel Cumbee Rabon Fosnough, 85, of Leland, NC passed away at her home on Friday, August 25, 2023.

Ethel was born in Brunswick County, NC on August 13, 1938 to the late Albert A. And Sudie Benton Cumbee. In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Fosnough, a son, Dean Rabon, a daughter-in-law, Wendy Rabon, brothers, Clifton Cumbee, Harris Cumbee, Johnson Cumbee,  Delmas, Cumbee, Burnice Cumbee and Jimmy Cumbee, sisters, Julia Knox, Addie Benton, Mabel Barnes,

She was a graduate of Bolivia High School, Bolivia, NC, & was a longtime member of Peace Memorial Baptist Church and was a retired bookkeeper from Miller Building Company.

Surviving are her children, Gary Rabon (Tammy), Linda Reynolds (Charles), Special Grandson, Jerry Dean Rabon, Jr. (Betty); grandchildren, Krystal Wood, (Kendall), Daniel Rabon (Courtney), Whitney Herring (Adam), Peyton Long (Jakob), Elliott Reynolds (Amanda) & Benjamin Reynolds; great grandchildren, Kinsey Thomas, Jaxon Thomas, Kayce Wood, Rileigh Rabon, Raylan Rabon, Braylon Herring, Kayleigh Herring, Easton Herring, Bradley Hall, Dean Rabon; a special sister-in-law, Gayle Sullivan; and special friends, Kim Phillips and Dylan Phillips.

You are invited to a time of visitation with the family from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in the Peace Memorial Baptist Church and from other times from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM, at her home 910 Beartrap Drive, NE, Leland, NC.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in the Cumbee Cemetery, Beetree Farm Trail, NE, Leland, NC with Pastor Hoyt King officiating.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Rabon, Elliott Reynolds, Ben Reynolds, Scott Rabon, Dylan Phillips and Jakob Long.
