Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Petoh, age 72, of Shallotte, NC passed away on Saturday, the twenty third of October 2021 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Life Care Center, Brunswick House, Bolivia, NC. She was born in Manhattan, NY on the fifteenth of December 1948 to the late Theresa Vozzo. Elizabeth was a longtime manager of the Captain's Cove Motel on Oak Island, NC. In addition to her mother, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Leavitt. Surviving are her husband of fifty-three years, Patrick "Rickey" Thomas Petoh; her son-in-law Min Kim, her daughter, Michelle Leigh Kim of Pottstown, PA; son Michael Alexander Petoh of Shallotte, NC; three brothers, Stevie Leavitt; Ritchie Leavitt and Raymond Leavitt; three sisters, Patty Leavitt, Donna Plenkers and Scott Plenkers, and Theresa Leavitt, and her beloved fur babies, Dixie, Baby Ruth, Sweepea, Jessie and Olive. Memorial services will be private.
