Dwayne J. King, age 47, of Leland, NC passed away on Tuesday, the twelfth of January 2021 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCare Center, Bolivia.

Dwayne was born in Akron, OH on the sixteenth of October 1973 to Juwan Simmers King, and the late James Randall King. Dwayne was a shop manager with Kelly's Automotive.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife Alicia Whitaker; sons, Justin Whitaker, Kevin Whitaker; brothers, Anthony King (Amy), Patrick King, Carl King (April), David King, Phillip King (Samaria); sister, Katherine King (Dellanee); nieces, Carmella, Amiliah, Danielle, August, Brittany, Kiley, Kirsten, Leah, Kasey, Michaela, Brittany, Charlene and Londyn; nephews, Calique, Zachary, Jacob, Zebulin, Tyler, Brantlee, Hunter and Timothy; sisters-in-law, Gidget Whitaker, Angel Whitaker; brothers-in-law, Ashley Whitaker (Tiffany) and Mike Evans.

Memorial services will be private.
