Donald Lee Hovis, Jr., 71, of Oak Island, NC, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare "Brunswick House" following a time of declining health.
Donald was born in Lincoln County, NC on January 11, 1953, and was a son of the late Donald Lee Hovis, Sr., and Verna Lou Herman Hovis.
Don was a retired draftsman, having worked with Duke Energy for 32 years.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Elizabeth "Ann" Canipe Hovis.
