Diane Frances (Riegel) Scott, 64, of Calabash, NC formerly of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on Monday, the twenty first of February 2022 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center after a valiant battle with colon cancer.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on the second of August 1957, Diane was one of ten children born to Charles Louis and Rosalie Theresa (Effinger) Riegel. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Riegel.

Survivors include her siblings, Charles A. Riegel (Sharon), of California, Elaine Bailey of Pennsylvania, Richard Riegel (Diane) of PA, Theresa Turley (Mark) of North Carolina, Monica Book (John) of PA, Mary Riegel of PA, Dorothy McGullam of Texas, Margaret Henry (James) of PA, Allison Fanelli (Michael) of NC, Leslie Ogilvie (Andrew) of PA; former husband of thirty-eight years, Bryan P. Scott of Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.
