Diana Maria-Victoria Shamieh, age 67, of Supply, NC passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at her home with close family and friends by her side.

Born on the first of September 1955 to the late Wendell B. Liddle, Sr., and Advina Pintus Liddle, Dianna was the last American born in the US Army hospital in Salzburg, during the US occupation of Austria. Diana was a proud US Air Force veteran and served eight years as crew chief of the F-4 fighters. She also served in the Illinois Air National Guards for a total of 18 years' service. She will forever be remembered as a patriot, activist, teacher, poet and artist. She was compassionate and would take in strays both animal as well as human and nurture them as needed. Special heartfelt thanks to "Team Diana", the friends and family that supported her daily through this battle; Ben Liddle, Andrea Almony, Marty and Don Mentzer, Donald R. Davis, Denise Weik, Mother Bubble and Susan Leary.

Surviving are her brother, Ben Liddle, Jr. and significant other, Andrea Almony of Supply; special friends, Denise Weik of Tonica, IL and Marty Menetzer of Supply.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
