Dennis Lee Lewis, Sr., 85, of Winnabow, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, Bolivia, NC following a decline in health.

Dennis was born in Southport, NC and was one of five children born to the late Roland Fisher and Lydia Pearl Arnold Lewis. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Patsy Simmons Lewis; his first wife, Elizabeth Creech Lewis Foster; two brothers, Jackie Dale "JD" Lewis, Louie Lewis; a sister, Judy Galloway; a granddaughter, Jennifer M. Barron; great grandson, Jordan A Robbins; and a great great grandson, Colton Lewis.

After high school, Dennis and Louie moved to Richmond, Virginia and worked hanging drywall. He then returned to Brunswick County and worked as a mechanic for many years for his brother at Lewis Auto Sales. He then began a Well Drilling business, DL Lewis Well Drilling and operated it until his retirement.

Surviving are his son, Dennis L. "Tinky" Lewis, Jr. of Supply, NC; three daughters, Sheila Grainger and husband Johnny of Bolivia, Wanda S. Robbins and husband Gary of Winnabow, Lendy Ellison and husband Dale of Southport; a brother, Lester Lewis and wife Mary Alice; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Spangenberg and husband Paul; a brother-in-law, Gary Galloway; twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren and a special niece, Cheri Estes.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in the Mill Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Jarod Galloway officiating.
