David John Floyd, age 78, of Winnabow, NC passed away on Saturday the twenty first of August 2021 in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, Bolivia, NC after a lengthy illness. David was born in Southport, NC on the fifteenth of September 1942 to the late David and Pearline Gore Floyd. David was a retired commercial fisherman.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday the twenty eighth of August 2021 in the St James AME Zion Church, 407 E. West Street, Southport, NC 28461.
