Daniel Bige Bowling, 66, of Bolivia, NC passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at his home following a time of declining health.

Daniel was born in Southport, NC on October 11, 1957, and was a son of the late Charles Edward Bowling and Nancy Mae Eversole Spencer. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a step-son Richard David Johnson, Jr.

Danny was a simple man. He loved his family, fishing, and tooling around in his golf cart. He loved children and babies and even at the end lit up for his grandchildren and great granddaughter. He was generous to a fault and known for "stylin and profilin". He was loved and will be missed.

Surviving are two daughters, Brittany B. Bryant (Andrew), Danielle B. Hill; two brothers, Kenny Bowling (Brenda), Randy Bowling (Lynn); a step-father, Spud Spencer; grandchildren, Greyson Bryant, MacKenzie Bryant, Hope Hill, Jason Hill, John Hill; and a great granddaughter, Nova Thompson.

Daniel will be laid to rest in the Bowling Family Cemetery, Bolivia, NC on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
