Clayton "Clay" S. Ryan, 59, of Calabash, NC passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026.

Clayton was born in Uniontown, PA, on January 10, 1966, and was a son of the late Warren and Lillie Meyers Ryan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his special friend, Sally McIntosh; three brothers, Roger Ryan, Richard Ryan, Allen Ryan and a nephew, Warren Dougherty.

Clay as he was known by his family and friends, was a Certified nursing Assistant and was a US Navy veteran.

Surviving are two sisters, Marqueta Ryan and Victoria R. Dougherty, and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Memorial services were private.
