Charles H. Bailey 76 of Southport NC passed away on Wednesday the 24th day of November at home with his family by his side. Charles is survived by his wife Joanne of 53 years, sister Susan Fischer(Joel), son Burt (Angela) Bailey, daughter Sarah (Ernie) Gelegonya, grandchildren Amanda Bailey (Justin), Kimberly Gelegonya (Bryant), William Gelegonya, Aydn Bailey, Catherine Lupyan (Kody), great grandchildren Raelyn, Rowen, Jackson

Charles was born in Cobleskill, NY on December 2, 1944 to the late Horace and Julia Bailey. Preceded in death by sister Judy Liston.

Charles was a loving husband, father grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, and a mentor to all.

He was a skilled craftsmen, mechanic, Engineer who was always there for everyone.

He especially loved his family and enjoyed doing things with them.

The family will be hosting a gathering of family and friend at 168 South Shore Dr., Southport, NC on December 11th between 2pm and 4pm.
