Bruce Edwin Carlson, 77, of Leland, NC passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 in the Brunswick Cove Nursing Facility, Winnabow, NC following a time of declining health.

Born in Mt. Vernon, NY on May 5, 1947, Bruce was a son of the late Edwin Billy and Margaret Rosenkranz Carlson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Craig Carlson.

Bruce enjoyed skiing, golf, tennis, boating and the ocean.

Surviving are two sons, Bruce Carlson, Jr. and wife Leslie, Brett Carlson; a sister, Lisa Carlson; and grandchildren, Abigail Carlson, Peter Carlson, Wyatt Carlson,  Eliza Carlson, Brennan Carlson, Amy D'Auria and a great-grandson Patrick Asard, Jr.
