Bobby Wayne Lovett, Sr., age 71, of Supply, NC passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Lifecare Center, Wilmington following a brief illness.

Bobby was born in Brunswick County, NC on July 18, 1950 and was a son of the late Joel Emory (Pete) Lovett and Ettie Clemmons Lovett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

He was a Commercial Fisherman for many years Bobby also worked for Wilson Tree Company and was a member of Shell Point Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Bobby Wayne Lovett, Jr. and wife Pam of Supply; a nephew, Joel Lovett and wife Monica of Leland; a niece, Sherry Diaz of Supply, NC; grandchildren, ,Mason, Olivia, Mia, Maddox; sister in law, Nellie Maultsby of Leland, nieces, Melanie Doan (Rocky), Rachel Ivey (Gerik); and many extended family and friends too numerous to mention.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from the home of Bobby Wayne Lovett, Jr., 2421 Harbor Cove Road, Supply, NC 28462 from three until five PM on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
