Bobby Frank "Bob" McClintock, died from complications of Lewy Body Dementia while under hospice care in Brunswick County, on July 20, 2026.
Born in Pleasant Garden, NC on July 12, 1932, Bob was a lifelong farmer. He was still baling hay for neighbors at 91. He enjoyed hunting and fishing most of his life and loved eating shrimp and fish and playing cards right up to the end.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Stacy Barber McClintock and Gelia Garrett McClintock; by the mother of his children, Doris Dunham, by his second wife Wanda Groce, by his son, Charlie McClintock, and by his sister, Mildred Moser.
Bob is survived by his loving daughters, Margaret Causey (John), and Pam Almond (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Chad McClintock, Gregg Causey, and Nicole Almond; and his great grandsons, Aiden and Roman. He is also survived by his older brother, Clarence Stacy McClintock, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, August 8, in the fellowship hall of Bethlehem Methodist Church in Climax, NC. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 PM.
