The Son Will Shine on Me Again
The days were dark and dreary
They seemed so long and blue.
I felt as if I was in a trap
And I didn't know what to do.
I searched for answers everywhere...
I thought I'd lose my mind.
But I knew I couldn't give up yet
A solution I had to find.
But all the while this hole inside
Kept growing larger each day.
I prayed to God that He would come
And show me a better way.
Lo and behold! He answered my prayers.
He made me whole again.
He said He'd forgive me of my wrongs
And wash away all my sins.
The Sunlight on the Spirit
Was always shining through
The Son will shine on me again
Because God loves me too.
Deborah Powers
