Billy Erskine Lane, Jr., age 60, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Brunswick House.

Born in Gastonia, NC on the fifth of April 1962, Billy was the son of the late Bill E. Lane, Sr. and Rulane Cook Lane. Billy spent his working life in the RV Sales business

Surviving are his daughters, Jordan Lane Brown and husband Trey of Slidell, LA, Skylar Gateman of Ocean Isle Beach; their mother and Billy's best friend, Donna Lane Gormley of Ocean Isle Beach; sisters, Carrie Smith and husband Lindberg, Mandy Desfonds and husband David; and his special companion labradoodle he affectionately called "my grand-dog - Winston Brown."

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM, on Saturday, April 23, 2022 in the Jennies Branch Baptist Church with The Reverend Mark Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Silent Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and following the service at the church fellowship hall from 3:00 until 5:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Tony Green, Chad Lane, Tracy Lane, Clay Smith, Steve Whisnant and Bucky Trimnal.
