Betsy Ann Lyons Jack, age 86, of Southport, NC went to her heavenly home on her 86 Birthday, August 27, 2023, in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, she had been in declining health.

Betsy was born in Middleton, New Hampshire on August 27, 1937, and was a daughter of the late Carl and Martha Marsh Lyons. In addition to her parents, Betsy was preceded in death by her husband, Erville Jack, her only child, Jeff Lyons of Wilmington NC passed away on August 29, 2023, and a sister, Carleen Foley.

Surviving are three grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren A special friend Ann Jordan Hall of Edenton NC, Linda Leewright, and Linda Zachary, Betsy had wonderful neighbors with many blessings. Betsy was a great cook and loved to read. Her favorite was cook books, which she read from front to back like a regular book, of which she as many in her collection.

She and Ann owned Merle Norman Cosmetic in Southport for several years.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
