Angela Renee Pierce Talley, 62, of Supply, NC passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Angela used her journey as a powerful testimony to countless friends and family. Despite her illness, she remained devoted to generously volunteering her time and talents. Angela's faith, positivity, and strength will be remembered by all who knew her.

Born in Randolph County, NC on December 22, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Lacy and Inez Skeen Pierce. In addition to her parents, Angela was preceded in death by a sister, Celeste Pierce, and grandchild, Breana LaDronka.

A graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School and King's College, Angela began a life of service through her employment with the Randolph County Courts and her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. This love for helping others led her to volunteer in many ways, but the way that was closest to her heart was her work with Operation Christmas Child. After her retirement from the state of North Carolina as well as Cabarrus County where she last worked as a Local Hearing Officer at Cabarrus County DHS,  Angela was able to devote even more of her time to "spreading the good news to the ends of the earth with a small shoebox gift". She served others by serving Jesus.

Surviving are her husband, John Tracy Talley, II; two daughters, Jessica LaDronka and husband Brad, Jodi Hearn and husband Barry; two brothers, Brian Pierce and wife Donna, Eric Pierce and wife Rita; grandchildren, Gabriella LaDronka, Kayleigh LaDronka and Brayden Hearn; and nieces and nephews, Callie Chuml and husband Matthew, Krista Pierce, and Andrew Pierce.

A celebration of life service will at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2023 in the Calvary Baptist Church, 623 Village Road, Shallotte, NC 28470.
