Alisha Brooke Overcash, 51, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC formerly of Mt. Pleasant, NC passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

Brooke, as she was affectionately known, was born in Cabarrus County, NC on August 28, 1975, and was one of two daughters born to Billy and Gwen Hough Ennis.

Brooke was a retired accountant, but above all, she was an extraordinary wife, mother, sister, and aunt who will forever be remembered for her selfless heart and unwavering love for her family. She always put the needs and happiness of her family and friends above her own. One of her greatest dreams was to build a life at the beach, her happiest place in the world, alongside her beloved husband and son. She was blessed to see that dream become a reality, spending her days surrounded by family, friends, and the love that meant everything to her.

Surviving is her father, Billy Ennis; her husband of 23 years, Bradley Overcash; a beloved son, Broc Overcash of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; a sister, Candy Clontz and husband Willie of Mt. Pleasant, NC; and a niece, Christen Clontz, and nephew, Chase Clontz both of Mt. Pleasant, NC.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in her name to Marilisa’s Wig Studio, 1561 US-17, Little River, SC 29566.
