Alice Noreen Sawyer Deaver, 73, of Supply, NC passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, “Brunswick House”.

Alice was born in Elizabeth City, NC on May 1, 1953, and was one of three children born to the late George Washington and Margaret Louise Patrick Sawyer.

Alice was a retired X-Ray technician and worked for many years in the Brunswick Community Hospital and then the Brunswick Health Novant Medical Center, in Bolivia. She was longtime member of Beach Assembly of God.

Surviving are her loving husband, David Deaver; a daughter, Jenean Simmons; a brother, Buddy Sawyer and wife Linda; a sister, Dot Cox and husband Walter “Butch”; and two beloved grandchildren, Michael Simmons and Recese Simmons.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Beach Assembly of God, 20 Bliss Road, Ocean Isle Beach, NC.
